Translation grants Dutch authors and illustrators
Foreign publishers wishing to publish translations of children’s books by Querido may apply for a subsidy towards the translation costs. The Foundation for the Production and Translation of Dutch Literature (NLPVF) exists to promote interest in Dutch-language literature abroad. Further information and an application form are to be found on www.nlpvf.nl.

Translation grants Flemish authors and illustrators
The Flemish Literature Fund (FLF) awards subsidies to foreign publishers for the translation of literary works by Flemish authors. For illustrated children’s books there’s a special subsidy that covers a proportion of the costs of the production, the promotion and the distribution.
